There’s a saying in the culinary industry: if you can’t take the heat, stay out of the kitchen…
The same words hold true for Cook-Out: A Sandwich Tale.
Behind the guise of a fun, quirky party game full of zany forest folk, is an hyper-intense cooking experience that will put even your closest relationships to the test.
So what can you do to avoid a kitchen nightmare and ensure that your team’s bond comes out stronger on the other side?
Read on to find out!
1: Pay attention to your ingredients
There’s nothing worse than having everything ready to be served, except for that one slice of lettuce that your absent-minded teammate didn’t realise they were responsible for.
Keep tempers tempered by ensuring that you know exactly what your station comes equipped with, and what your party is counting on you for.
2: Give a helping hand
Teammate got a lot on their plate?
You can reach over and take ingredients from other stations if you feel that they’re in need of some support (or they’re just being too slow!)
3: Sharing is caring
It’s easiest to fulfil orders when plates are centralised. Avoid taking plates off the turning table to ensure that everyone knows what’s where.
4: Service Please
When an order is ready, simply place it in the blue zone in the center of the table.
DO NOT THROW IT AT CUSTOMERS (unless you want bad reviews)
5: Inner Peace
At the end of the day, Cook-Out should be an enjoyable experience for the whole team - so what if your partner has messed up every single order? the main thing is that you all had fun!
When you feel a Ramsay-esque rage building, make sure to take a deep breath and try not to think about how easy it would be if everyone was as smart as you!
Simple as that!
Follow the advice above, and you’ll be ready to soufflé your way into the upper echelons of high-end eateries.
As always, teamwork makes the dream work, so make sure to share everything you’ve learned with your friends prior to getting started!
